TINY ART SPREE

A fast-paced, rowdy art exchange where artists donate small artworks that will be displayed at the festival. Attendees purchase $20 spree tickets for a chance to take home pieces they love.

Salem Arts Festival Tiny Art Spree

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?

Anyone! All experience levels welcome. Each artist can submit up to three artworks.


HOW IT WORKS

  1. Artists pick up provided surfaces from designated locations

  2. Create art using the provided surface as a starting point

  3. Donate finished artwork to the fundraiser

  4. All art will be displayed at the event (except harmful content)

  5. Attendees buy tickets ($20 each) and can take home pieces when their ticket is drawn

CREATIVE GUIDELINES

  • Must start with the provided surface

  • Can be drawn on, painted, reworked, deconstructed or added to

  • Can become a sculpture, earring, poem display, or anything creative!

  • Constraint of starting with the same surface is part of the fun

  • Friday, May 30, (5 PM-8 PM, and Saturday, May 31 (9 AM-12 PM)

  • The Main Event: June 6 at the Festival opening.

    Mural slam

    The Mural Slam is a highlight of the 17th Salem Arts Festival, June 6-8, 2025. This live painting event turns Artists' Row on New Derby Street into an open-air studio where selected artists create large-scale murals in real time. Attendees can witness the creative process and engage with the artists.
