Mural Project:
"A Love Letter from Me to You" depicts a whimsical heart immersed in a glowing mushroom forest. The mural represents Colomba's first impressions of Salem, capturing the city's playful magic through a surrealistic, mystical landscape that invites viewers to experience the unique essence of Salem.

About the Artist:
Colomba Klenner is a Boston-based painter and illustrator. She was born in Santiago, Chile but grew up in Singapore before settling in Boston to pursue her BFA at MassArt. Living in such contrasting places has allowed Colomba's art to be influenced by a variety of cultures and physical environments. Colomba's art explores natural elements such as animals, plants, fungi and even microfauna. Often, animals and plant symbolism are used to speak about themes of love, compassion, and trauma, and sustainability encompassing the human experience.
