About the Project
"Hissstory" invites community members of all ages to craft individual snake segments using upcycled materials. These segments will be assembled into a larger installation celebrating Salem's creative spirit and commitment to sustainability. The completed installation will be displayed in downtown Salem during the 2025 Salem Arts Festival (June 6-8) and beyond.
Materials Needed
The project is currently collecting recycled materials! You can help by donating:
Veggie nets (the mesh bags that hold produce)
Clean aluminum foil
Bring these materials to any workshop or drop them off at Salem Main Streets located at 265 Essex Street.
